Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad arranged a seminar on “Role of Investigation in Fair Trial” . The seminar was arranged for students of 8th semester studying Criminal Procedural Law. The seminar was attend by huge number of students. The basic aim of the session was to share insight of practical aspects pertaining to effective policing mainly focusing and ensuring fair trial during the pre-trial proceedings especially investigation.

The key note Speaker was Rana Abad Ahmed, DSP Legal, Punjab Police. Mr. Abad has been rendering his services in Punjab Police Department as DSP/Legal; He has delivered more than 350 lectures as guest speaker at different police training centres, District Bars, and Punjab Bar Lahore on various topics ranging from Practical Police Working, Judgement Analysis and Causes of Acquittal, Police Order 2002, Police Rules 1934, High Court Rules and Orders, PPC, Cr.P.C, QSO, Money Laundering and Role of Police, Child Labour and Pakistani Laws, Women Protection and Legislation in Pakistan etc.

With full support of Hon’ble Director School of Law, the event was successfully coordinated and moderated by Muhammad Waqas Javed, Assistant Professor, School of Law Quaid-i-Azam University.
